Project status

We reviewed current BSE testing strategies in several European countries on behalf of a major global restaurant chain. The goal was to compare levels of food safety that could be achieved through different strategies and to identify potential adaptations to these strategies so that a harmonized level of food safety could be guaranteed. We applied a new framework to integrate GBR assessments and epidemiological data as a basis for an adequate testing regime.
